We truly believe in the transformative power of performing arts and its ability to engage and inspire people of all ages. Our passion for dance and aerial arts motivated us to create Brava Studio, to provide the local community in Doha with leading industry standards. FIORELLA
CO-FOUNDER
Fiorella is the Co-Founder of Brava Studio. Originally from Peru, Fiorella graduated from Pennsylvania State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism. At university she was a choreographer and performer for the Penn State International Dance Ensemble.
In Doha she has worked as a choreographer and dancer on commercials, music videos and live performances. Fiorella was one of the choreographers for ‘Dreamers’ FIFA World Cup Music Video (Jungkook and Fahad Alkubaisi). She was creative director for the closing ceremony of FIFA Legends Cup, and choreographer for the ‘Welcome to Qatar’ water show created by Balich Wonder Studio. Fiorella worked as a dancer on commercials for David Beckham and Qatar Creates, FIFA World Cup music videos ‘Arhbo’ (Maitre Gims, Ozuna, Redone), Ooreedoo ’Arhbo’ (Nasser Al Kubaisi, Ayed, Haneen Hussein). She was dance captain for FIFA World Cup music video ‘Light the Sky’ (Noora Fatehi, Balqees, Manal, Rahma Riad) choreographed by world- renowned choreographer, Sadeck Waff.
Fiorella worked as an assistant choreographer and dancer for Hamad International Airport and Qatar Airways and the official FIFA Arab Cup music video (Rahma Riad, Abdul Aziz Louis, Big Soof). She has performed at international salsa congresses and is also a certified aerial hammock instructor.
MARI
ASSISTANT MANAGER
Mari is Brava Studio’s assistant manager. She has been in the customer service industry since 2006. She handled multiple clusters and trained specialized quality support teams. She has been exposed to various administrative and managerial tasks while holding her position as an administrator and office manager in the GCC since 2015.
Adrian
INSTRUCTOR
Adrián is our Latin and Ballroom and Broadway instructor. He is a Spanish professional dancer and choreographer with more than 14 years of experience. He has performed all around the world and worked in television and commercials. He was an assistant choreographer and dancer for Hamad International Airport and Qatar Airways, He was a dancer for FIFA World Cup ‘Tahayya’ (Maher Zain, Humood), a dancer for FIFA Legends Cup closing ceremony and was recently a pro on Dancing with the Stars in Belgium.
CARLA
INSTRUCTOR
Carla is our street jazz, heels and yoga instructor. Originally French Lebanese, she is a professional dancer and teacher with a degree in jazz dance from Académie Internationale De La Danse based in Paris, France. She has been involved in many shows and productions among them, Star Academy in Lebanon and Miss Lebanon. Carla is also a member of the teaching staff of Caracalla Dance Academy.
Carla was one of the choreographers for ‘Dreamers’ FIFA World Cup Music Video (Jungkook and Fahad Alkubaisi) and was an assistant choreographer and dancer for Hamad International Airport and Qatar Airways. She danced in the official FIFA Arab Cup song music video (Rahma Riad, Abdul Aziz Louis, Big Soof) as well as the official FIFA World Cup music video for Ooreedoo ’Arhbo’ (Nasser Al Kubaisi, Ayed, Haneen Hussein) and FIFA World Cup music video ‘Light the Sky’ (Noora Fatehi, Balqees, Manal, Rahma Riad) choreographed by Sadeck Waff, ‘Ez Al Arab’ (Wegz) and was choreographer and dancer for FIFA Legends Cup closing ceremony.
MOLLIE
INSTRUCTOR
Mollie is our aerial arts instructor. She has taught at Absolute Aerials, Aerial Catz, and Vigour Pole Studios in her native, Australia. She has been training and teaching vertical fitness for eight years and aerial arts for seven years. She teaches kids from 7 years and above.
GEMMA
INSTRUCTOR
Gemma is our aerial acrobatics instructor. She has a background in artistic gymnastics and competed at elite level representing Northern Ireland in various international competitions. After retiring as a competitive gymnast, she found her new passion for vertical fitness and aerial acrobatics and has since competed in pole and aerial hoop doubles and won various championships across Ireland. Gemma is also a certified yoga instructor. At Brava Studio she will be teaching vertical fitness classes as well as hoop doubles workshops. Welcome to the team Gemma!
Gian
INSTRUCTOR
Gian is our hip hop and commercial dance instructor. From the Philippines, he is the head coach of BNB New Breed, one of Doha's most renowned Filipino dance companies. He is experienced in managing and producing large-scale shows and performances as well as music videos. His styles are commercial dance and open-style choreography.
Gian was a dancer in FIFA World Cup music videos, Ooreedoo ’Arhbo’ (Nasser Al Kubaisi, Ayed, Haneen Hussein), ‘Light the Sky’ (Noora Fatehi, Balqees, Manal, Rahma Riad) choreographed by world- renowned choreographer, Sadeck Waff, ’Tahayya’ (Maher Zain, Humood), ‘Dreamers’ (Jungkook, Fahad Alkubaisi) and ‘Ez Al Arab’ (Wegz) a was a dancer for FIFA Legends Cup closing ceremony.
Lucy
INSTRUCTOR
Lucy is our contemporary dance instructor. From New Zealand, she has performed and toured internationally as a leading dancer with the world-renowned contemporary dance company Rambert. Lucy trained at the International Ballet Academy in Christchurch, then spent ten years with the Royal New Zealand Ballet, before joining Rambert in 2013. She has recently given inspiring talks to graduates of Rambert Dance School and English National Ballet School and taught pregnant and postnatal professional dance classes for Dance Mama as well as ballet classes at London Contemporary Dance School.
REGINA
INSTRUCTOR
Regina is our belly dance instructor. She is a certified personal trainer, has a black belt in Taekwondo. She has taught belly dance for the past 15 years and worked as a dance teacher in Chekhov Center in her native Uzbekistan. Regina perceives belly dance to be effective at relieving stress, developing strong inner confidence and poise, toning the body, and keeping the mind sharp. During the FIFA World Cup 2022, Regina was an Adidas Ambassador.
BIANCA
INSTRUCTOR
Bianca is an American Ballet Theater certified teacher and an ex-professional ballet dancer with over 16 years of teaching experience. Bianca has worked as a dance teacher in Doha since 2014 and in leading ballet schools in her native Dominican Republic, where she performed as a soloist and as member of corps de ballet in several high-profile productions by the Dominican National Ballet. She appeared as a dancer in a commercial for Blue Salon, and recently performed for Georgina Rodriguez during FIFA World Cup 2022.
REGINE
INSTRUCTOR
Regine is our lovely receptionist. She is the first friendly face you see at our front desk and the go – to person for anything Brava. From the Philippines, she graduated with a degree in tourism. She was a volunteer for outreach programs in local communities and loves helping others. In her free time she likes listening to music and drawing.
